The
over 2,000 recruits into the Nigeria Immigration Service who were disengaged
after their training last year have come together to protest their sack at the
ministry of interior.The leader of the group, Mr. Rex Elenu told
the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that they were there to protest their
disengagement and push for immediate reinstatement.
Mr. Rex Elenu said that they had embarked on a
similar protest in April to the Ministry of Interior and were assured by the
Permanent Secretary that the
issued would be addressed.
