A SHOUT OUT To All The Caring Mothers In The House!
Mine just came to me now asking "what have you eaten today? Your eyes have been on that computer (My Ipad) on a stretch of 3 days none stop. You hardly sleep like others do yet you joke with your stomach, do you want hunger to damage something in your system"?
Her eyes were all fixed on me all these while her talk was on smiling at me.
And my response was very short and unexpected:
Like mother like daughter. Tell me when you ever rested from work and I will tell you why I don't sleep and eat all the time while working.
We both looked at each other and started laughing....
Work Continued but at that point I called for food.
She was right: One should have a balance when working or doing anything. But for me I have no such balance with work, I guess I need a therapist to coach me on that otherwise I may really NOT be able to break my addiction for work!
Shortly thereafter, I felt this my visit to my parents is well served already after 1 full week.
I guess it's time to pack my luggage and head back to Base to face KARIFEST FULLY UNMONITORED!
Though am enjoying the ATTENTION here from my parents and entire family but work, is MORE PRODUCTIVE from MAIN BASE.
If you should ask my reason for visiting in the first place, I would say it was for me to have some rest from work and then spend quality time with my entire family; Nuclear and Extended but I guess I have no discipline with work addiction as my strength or call it weakness?
