Chief Solomon Chukwu, the Leader of the
Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra has revealed that
there is no affiliation between MASSOB and armed Niger Delta Avengers. Mr.
Sunday Okereafor, the National Director of Information speaking on behalf of Chukwu
on Thursday, said that while the Avengers were armed, MASSOB members were
armless and non-violent. Chukwu who described the actions of the NDA as ill,
obnoxious and nefarious said that MASSOB was not supportive of the activities
of Avengers.
“Avengers are militants.
Their philosophy, ideology, concept, mission and vision are quite different from
MASSOB's,” Chukwu
said.
