The senate president has debunked
suggestion that his trial with CCT was affecting his job. He instead submitted
that his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal was political especially with
recent developments.
Saraki also spoke on the situation
in the Niger Delta counseling the Federal Government that no price is too
high in ensuring that peace is brokered in the region.
He thanked God for the last one year in
office, saying it was the creator who gave him the opportunity, an opportunity
not bestowed on many.
