On Sunday, the congress suspended its nationwide strike following an emergency meeting of its National Executive Council and the intervention of the leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
The NLC said it suspended the strike so it can continue negotiations with the Government.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Labour and Employment announced that the Government had scheduled a meeting with leadership of the NLC.
The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday (today) by 2pm at the Conference Hall of Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
