PORT HARCOURT REFINERY OFFICIALLY RESUME OPERATIONS, TARGETS 5 MILLION LITRES PER DAY


The spokesman of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Garba Deen Muhammad, has disclosed that the the Port Harcourt refinery of the NNPC, has resumed operations three months after it was shut as a result of sabotage to crude pipelines.

There was renewed hope yesterday about the possibility of a rise in oil prices as the world’s top oil producers, Russia and Saudi Arabia, agreed to a production output freeze to tackle oil glut, as long as other countries are ready to do same.
