SAD! SEE WHAT HAPPENED TO MAN WHO JUMPED INTO LION'S DEN TO 'SHOUT THINGS ABOUT JESUS' [GRAPHIC PHOTOS]

20-year-old Chilean, identified as Franco Luis Ferrada Roman, reportedly stripped naked in a zoo and jumped into a lion’s enclosure and began to yell things about Jesus to the wild animals, to the disgust of onlookers which included children.
According to reports, the animals didn’t attack him immediately but later pounced on him and savagely mauled him.

In order to save the young man’s life, zookeepers had to shoot two lions dead.

Speaking with the press later, the director of the zoo, Alejandra Montalva, said:

“We believe that this person entered as a visitor and paid for his ticket. Later he trespassed into an area where the public are not normally allowed and we understand that he forced the roof of the lion’s enclosure.

It was from there that he jumped, took off his clothes and started to attract the lions.

The zoo has an established protocol because people’s lives are very important to us.”

 The zoo didn’t have fast-acting tranquilisers, plus the security were slow to attend to the situation and only decided to shoot the lions dead after they attacked the man.

A witness, Cynthia Vasquez, told the press that the man “entered the enclosure from above and the lions started to play with him, and then after, they attacked him,’ she said. She also added that the man was “shouting things about Jesus.”

After Ferrada Roman was rescued, a suicide note was found in his pocket. “The suicide note that was found inside his clothes made allusions to the apocalypse as being a reason for his attempt to take his life,” the report says.

Ferrada Roman is currently at a Santiago hospital after suffering acute injury. 

Thankfully, he is still alive.
