MEET KARIFEST PERSONALITY OF THE WEEK: HON. OSSAI NICHOLAS OSSAI, THE MAN OF THE PEOPLE!

Hon. Ossai is a member of the Federal House of Representatives elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He is a native of Delta State. Born on November 4, 1963 at Owa Ekei Boji-Boji ika North East L.G.A of Delta state.

He commenced his academic career at Urban Community Primary School Abakaliki, Ebonyi State. From there, he proceeded to CMS Grammar School, Lagos where he obtained his West African School Certificate. He graduated from University of Nigeria, Nsukka, with a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture (Agric Economics) in 1996. Thereafter, he forged ahead to acquire a Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Administration, University of Nsuka in 2002. He obtained his Masters in Business Administration from University of Benin, Benin City in 2004.

Hon. Ossai obtained his Masters Degree in Public Administration from University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 2005. Owing to his love for education, Ossai Nicholas went further to obtain a Doctorate Degree (Ph.D) in Public Administration from University of Nigeria Nsukka in 2015.

Hon. Ossai Nicholas Ossai is a Chartered Mediator and Member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators of Nigeria (ICMC). He was the chairman of the Council of College of Education, Agbor, Delta State. 

Hon. Ossai is happily married to Mrs. Ngozi Blessing Ossai and blessed with six wonderful children.

Hon. Ossai is a man who has sacrificed and placed his life at risk countless times to actualize the gains and dividends of democracy for his People. He has attained success through hard and selfless services to his people. He is a man who believes the interest of the people must be placed first at all times.  As a Christian and a staunch follower of the teachings of Jesus Christ, he exhibits the attributes of the teachings of Jesus Christ in his dealings without letting himself be swayed by the inanities and egoism of this world.

Hon. Ossai is a man who has defended government policies to the advantage of the masses and the government. He has combined effectively, academic excellence and politics of alleviating the problems of the poor and down-trodden. He is a diligent and industrious leader with record of great strides in leadership and government as a result of dynamic, innovative, aggressive and purposeful leadership.

 

He remains one of the youngest and most vibrant Majority Leaders Delta State House of Assembly has ever produced. As a young and venturesome politician, Hon. Ossai took the then Delta State House of Assembly by storm and moulded it to an enviable height. Without any iota of doubt, the now matured Ossai N. Ossai in the House of Representatives will do even more in Abuja in his second term.

Because of his love for his people and his commitment to equity and justice, Hon. Ossai believes Ndokwa people must enjoy the full benefits of huge oil and gas reserve in their God given land. He has committed himself to rigorous community work so that the people of Ndokwa community will not suffer.

His legislative interests include legislative drafting and strategic management. He targets to build national consensus for the betterment of Nigerian masses.

Hon. Ossai has recorded great strides during the course of the myriad of projects he has championed to alleviate poverty among his people and also make life easier for them. His community works includes but not limited to; providing good health facilities, good roads, electrification, education, poverty eradication, solar street light, relief materials, water scheme, employment and many more.

Definitely, Hon. Ossai Nicholas Ossai is the man of the people..!
