The Nigerian Police Force deployed the two helicopters in search of kidnapped former Minister.
The spokesperson of the police in Ogun, Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement said the choppers have arrived the states and had been patrolling the likely hideouts of the suspected kidnappers in various areas within the states.
He also said the kidnappers have not made any contact yet with any of the family members and all efforts would be made to ensure she is rescued alive and her abductors arrested, Tv360 reports.
“The Ogun State Police Commissioner, who spoke on behalf of the team, assured that the kidnapped former Senator will soon be rescued unhurt and culprits apprehended as every officer of the command and members of the search team had been having restless nights since the day of the incident,” he said.
Anisulowo, who was kidnapped by some armed forces in Yewa North Local Government area of Ogun state last Wednesday while returning from her farm in Igbogila, had represented Ogun West Senatorial District at the National Assembly between 2003 and 2007.
