DEMOCRACY DAY: FG DECLARES MAY 30 PUBLIC HOLIDAY

The Federal government has declared Monday, May 30, 2016 public holiday to commemorate the 2016 Democracy day which falls on Sunday May 29th.
This was announced in a statement released by the Permanent Secretary of the Minister of Interior, Retired Lt.-Gen. Abdulrahman DambazauFederal ministry on behalf of the Federal Government.

The statement read, “Dambazau congratulates Nigerians on the attainment of one year in office of President Muhammadu Buhari and enjoined all to continue to support the President in his sustained effort in building a peaceful, enduring and democratic legacy.

“The minister wishes all Nigerians a happy Democracy Day celebration.”
