BUHARI APPOINTS TOLU OGUNLESI AS SPECIAL ASSISTANT ON DIGITAL AND NEW MEDIA


President Muhammadu Buhari announced yesterday, through his spokesman Garba Shehu, that digital journalist Tolu Ogunlesi has been appointed as his new Special Assistant on Digital and New Media.

Days after President Buhari proclaimed Bashir Ahmad as his new Personal Assistant on New and Social Media, Tolu Ogunlesi has also joined the group of presidential aides as he has been appointed the new SA to president on Digital and New Media.

Mr. Ogunlesi obtained a Master’s degree in Creative Writing from the University of Anglia in the United Kingdom in 2011 and has worked for a variety of news organizations including The Africa Report, according to Mr. Shehu. He also received a CNN Multichoice African Journalism Award twice.
