Blood Will Flow If You Demolish Any House In Gbagyi Villa – Sokapu Youths Warn El-Rufai

The Youth Wing of Southern Kaduna Youth Peoples Union (SOKAPU), who were viciously angry, have issued a stern warning to Mallam Nasir El-rufai, the Kaduna State governor, to re-consider the planned demolition of Gbagyi Villa, a community with over 4,000 structures in Kaduna metropolis.

The youths condemned the plan to continue with the demolition especially since the case was still pending in a court of competent jurisdiction.

Comrade Nasiru Jagaba, the SOKAPU National Youth Co-ordinator, while speaking at the stakeholders meeting organized by the group on Saturday in Kaduna, said that “it is obvious the governor wants blood, as he is so desperate to go ahead with the demolition plan.”

He warned that if even one building was touched, the situation could get ugly, with his comment greeted with cheers from the other youths who in their support for the speaker, almost made the meeting rowdy.

“I pray this issue can be addressed peacefully because we love our state, so we can go about our duties without fear. If anything happens, it would take us years back from the gains we have made at ensuring peace,” he added.
