MINISTER, ONDO STATE APC CHAIRMAN FIGHT DIRTY IN PUBLIC



The Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, Professor Cladius Daramola and the Ondo State All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman, Isaac Kekemeke, over the weekend, had a physical faceoff, The Leadership reports.

The brawl is said to have occurred at the Akure residence of Senator Tayo Alasoadura, who recently lost his wife. The Minister was reported to have called on Alasoadura’s residence for a condolence visit.

According to the report, the Personal Assistant of the Minister, Nathaniel Adojutelegan, reacted to the embarrassment given to his boss by the APC chairman by pushing the later on the chest.

The situation further went down the drain as supporters of both men attacked each other. However, law enforcement officials present quelled the brawl.

On their parts, the personal assistants to the APC state chairman, Dolapo Malumi and Ayo Wisdom, stated that the PA to the Minister had insulted Kekemeke. They stated that APC Ondo state will suspend the Minister from the Party.

However, Adojutelegan denied the allegation, describing it as “It is a blatant lie.” He noted that he did not push the AC chairman.
