BOKO HARAM DETERMINED TO FIGHT TO THE END, RELEASES NEW VIDEO AFFIRMING ITS RESOLVE

“This war between us will not stop”, were the words muttered by an unrecognized leader of extremist group, Boko Haram, in a video released on Thursday, stating that the terror group will not surrender.

This is coming on the heels of last week’s video, wherein a thin looking and dejected Abubakar Shekau had insinuated that the terror group is surrendering and that his time as leader of the sect had come to an end.

However, in a shocking comeback video, the sect revealed that Boko Haram was still strong.

In the video, a masked man wearing military camouflage, surrounded by insurgents with weapons in front of a Toyota Hilux pick-up trucks and a lorry mounted with a military cannon, stated that: “You should know that there is no truce, there is no negotiations, there is no surrender.”

“This war between us will not stop,” the man said in Hausa language.

The video, which was posted on YouTube, also had Arabic subtitles and showed nine masked Boko Haram terrorists standing in an unknown desert location.

However, it is still unclear if Shekau was among the masked men in the video.

While comparing the sect to the Islamic terrorists in Iraq, Libya and Syria, the man noted that Shekau is still the head of the “West African wing”.

Boko Haram has been rated as one of the most deadly terrorist group in the world. Their vicious activities have resulted in more than 20,000 deaths since 2009 and has left over two million persons homeless and displaced.
