Buhari to visit Ogun state
President Muhammed Buhari will arrive Ogun state today February 1, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the creation of the gateway state.
The president is also expected to commission some projects in the state.
The Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Taiwo Adeoluwa said past leaders who are still alive have been contacted and expressed readiness to be part of the historic event.
Other dignitaries that will be part of the special session include the former Heads of Service and former SSG.
This medium also gathered that former president Olusegun Obasanjo is also expected to grace the occasion.
Also, same meeting will be replicated at the legislative house where all the former speakers will be in attendance to marking the historic 40th anniversary.
Ogun state being a tremendously blessed state will be forty on Wednesday, 3 February, 2016 and several activities have been lined up to mark the anniversary.
