SARAKI IN BIGGER TROUBLE AS AGF ORDERS FRESH ULTIMATUM IN SENATE FORGERY CASE



The Attorney-General of the Federation, Mr. Abubakar Malami has handed down a two week ultimatum to the Director of Public Prosecutions of the Federation and the Police to prefer charges against the suspects who were responsible for forging the Senate Standing Orders used for the proclamation of the current 8th Senate.

IPMAN PROMISES TO MAKE PETROL AVAILABLE NATIONWIDE



The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has promised to make petrol available nationwide immediately its members begin to receive the imported product currently berthed at the nation’s sea ports.

The Vice President of IPMAN, Alhaji Abubakar Maigandi, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Abuja.

UK Telegraph according to report claims that Nigeria has diverted hundreds of millions of pounds of the British foreign aid which was meant to help the country fight Boko Haram insurgents into witch-hunting against opposition politicians. 

 
The UK Telegraph defence editor, Con Coughlin, in a publication on Tuesday said Britain committed to spending £860 million in foreign aid to Nigeria in order to help support its fight against Boko Haram Insurgents who have been responsible for catastrophic happenings in the country leading to massive loss of lives and properties.

Prosecution witness, Micheal Wetkas, an operative of the EFCC, has  revealed how Sule Lamido, his sons, and cohorts received kickbacks, while masquerading the same as proceeds for executed sub-contracts.

Lamido and his son are currently being prosecuted on a 27-count charge bordering on the abuse of office and money laundering.

BOKO HARAM: OPERATIVES ARREST ABUBAKAR SHEKAU'S VICE



Security operatives continue to record victories in the fight against Boko Haram as operatives on Friday, arrested the leader of the Ansaru Islamic Sect, Khalid Albarnawi.

The Acting Director Defence information, Brig. Gen. Rabe Abubakar affirmed the arrest and that arrested Albanarwi was second in command to Abubakar Shekau in the Boko Haram Sect’s hierarchy.
