While her fellow women are guarding their husbands jealously, a woman who lives in the US has taken to social media to announce that she is looking for a co-wife for her 32 year old husband.

She wrote: "I'm looking for a Co-wife because it's a beautiful system that Allah has ordained to strengthen the sisterhood as well as the family life. There's more benefit in this sunnah for the women than the men. Unfortunately many sister's miss out on a good husband because they refuse to practice this sunnah."

Two Sisters Shot Dead In Pakistan ‘Honour’ Killings

Nasir Hussain killed his two sisters, Kosar and Gulzar Bibi, aged 22 and 28, on the eve of their weddings in Pakistan’s central Punjab province, police said Saturday, in the latest case of so-called “honour” killings in the country.

The sisters were shot dead by their 35-year-old brother on Friday as they prepared to marry men they had chosen themselves, senior police officer Mehar Riaz told AFP.

“The brother shot dead both the sisters yesterday and fled the site,” the officer said, adding that a search was underway.

“It is a simple case of killing for honour,” he said.

Atta Mohammad, the patriarch of the family, told reporters that Hussain had “destroyed everything”.

“He ruined my family, he destroyed us, he destroyed everything” Mohammad said.

Hundreds of women are murdered by relatives in the conservative Muslim nation each year on the pretext of defending what is seen as family honour.

Pakistan’s law minister this month announced that bills aimed at tackling “honour killings” and boosting rape convictions would soon be voted on by parliament, after mounting pressure to tackle a pattern of crime that claims around 1,000 lives a year.

The perpetrators of so-called honour killings — in which the victim, normally a woman, is killed by a relative — often walk free because they can seek forgiveness for the crime from another family member.

Fight Those Who Try To Stop You From Practising Islam – Sultan Of Sokoto Charges Muslims

The President General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, while speaking at a conference organised by Da’wah Co-ordination Council of Nigeria, has called on Muslims to fight any body or group that attempts to stop them from performing their religious obligations.

He said, ”the only thing that will make me to act or ask you to act is only when somebody or a group or some other nations decide to stop us from performing our religious obligations. That is the only way we can fight somebody.”

The Sultan who also warned Muslim clerics against preaching hate messages said, “When somebody or a group or some other nations decide to stop us from performing our religious obligations, we must never take laws into our hands. We must not be law officers. We do not do that in Islam.

“We do not force anybody to join Islam. There is no compulsion in Islam.

“Our good deeds, good actions and good interactions as Muslims will give that very bright light to everybody what Islam is and that is what brings people to join us.

“Those who do not want to come as Muslims are free to stay with us and continue working with us to make this country a much better place.

“Whoever wants to fight you, do not fight him; leave him alone. Be very patient.

“The only thing that will make me to act or ask you to act is only when somebody or a group or some other nations decide to stop us from performing our religious obligations. That is the only way we can fight somebody.

“But if I am allowed to pursue my religious obligations, say my prayers and pay my zakat and so many other things, I have no problem with anybody. To you, your religion and to me, my religion.”
