The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has announced that the Roman Catholic Church Pontiff, Pope Francis prayed for thousands of their members who converged at the Vatican City State on Sunday, February 28.

Pope Francis was reported to have addressed them as ‘Biafrans’ and prayed for them during his weekly Angelus address where he speaks to thousands of pilgrims gathered in St. Peter’s Square.
