EXCLUSIVE: OPONE VOTED CHAIRMAN NDOKWA NEKU UNION

The election of Ndokwa Neku Union was conducted yesterday with Chief Johnson Opone emerging as the President General of the Union scoring a total of 478 votes to defeat his closest opponent who scored 175 votes.
The election which was held at the Kwale township stadium started at about 10 o'clock AM and had dignitaries from different spheres of life in attendance. 

Friday Ossai Osanebi the Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly and member representing Ndokwa East speaking to KARIFEST said he was impressed with the election, he opined that the process was indeed free, fair and credible. 

He expressed hopes that the new Excos would work with politicians from Ndokwa nationality in moving the region forward just as he debunked the notion that the Ndokwas were being marginalized.

Chief Johnson Opone who expressed joy at his election success hosted dignitaries from all works of life including commissioners, house of assembly members and other prominent Ndokwa personalities.
