Rotary International District 9125 marked 101 years of Rotary’s existence on Tuesday 23rd February 2016, celebrating various cultures in Nigeria and from around the world.

Earlier in the day, the 4-Way Test Initiative was unveiled by General Yakubu Gowon GCFR, followed by speeches from selected speakers; presentation of Peace Ambassador Award to His Excellency Donald Duke; Endorsement of the 4-Way Test, and many more.
The climax of the event came to fore in the evening when Rotarians and friends of Rotary alike turned out in their best costumes, donning some of the finest African attires, treated to great cultural cuisines, as comedy, dance and fashion parade took center stage to thrill, dazzle, and entertain attendees to the fullest.





The Rotary International was founded on the 23rd of February, 1915, as an international service organization set out to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and to advance goodwill and peace around the world.
