Siasia will be assisted by Emmanuel Amuneke with Salisu Yusuf and Alloy Agu keeping their posts from the Oliseh circle.
These changes are coming on the heels of Oliseh’s shocking resignation just few weeks before the all-important back-to-back 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clashes with Egypt.
Siasia, who has coached the Super Eagles in the past, has been mandated to navigate Nigeria through the two matches with Egypt next month.
Chris Green, chairman of the NFF Technical and Development Committee, told thenff.com: “The new crew has the mandate to reach out to the very best Nigerian players anywhere. The matches against Egypt won't be picnics and we need our very best for those contests.”
Nigeria are in second place in Group G of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on four points behind Egypt who are two points ahead.
The Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna will host the tie between the Super Eagles and Pharaohs of Egypt on March 25.
