Sunrise presenter Edwina Bartholomew's 'vagina' Oscars gown leaves social media users bemused

At first glance it seemed like Edwina Bartholomew certainly looked the part in her Rachel Gilbert ice blue gown as she took to the red carpet at the Oscars in Los Angeles on Sunday.

But after posting images of her outfit to social media the Sunrise reporter left her followers bemused, thanks to the unusual detailing at the front of the outfit.

One Instagram user asked: 'Nice but why is there a uterus on your dress?'
